So what b/c you saw the full version the jury, the judge and the DA saw the full version also, and made the desicion to indict his ass, therefore they saw something that was probable cause to charge his ass period.... yeah he was a man that was bigger than his little ass but he should have known when joining the force that one day he would run across someone bigger than him and he should have knew of other means of dealing with an irrate person...

Well, quite the flame-blog... Were you there? Have you seen the ENTIRE video? I doubt either. I have seen the video. The whole thing. The spliced version on the news is manufactured as much as the movie Wag the Dog. This is the very definition of self defense. Remember, Johnson is a big guy (yes, "guy" - sorry to the transgender folks, but size, muscles etc of a 6'9" guy, a full foot taller than the cop). Johnson threatened the cop...then grabbed his arm (left arm). The cop was trying to handcuff Johnson, so cuffs were in his right hand already. With Johnson holding and pulling/yanking his left arm (assault on the cop, by the way, per the laws of this land), the cop tried to get free...couldn't (remember the size difference??) so the cop started swinging to get free…with his right hand, that unfortunately had the cuffs in it. There was no previous intent by the cop to hit Johnson, especially not with the cuffs (it hurt his hand more than it hurt Johnson). Johnson was a trouble case. Don't let this cop go down just because he was the unfortunate guy who took Johnson in on this day. Stop the disinformation. I don't blame you. The press is the problem. They have to make news to make money. But don't comment on what you don't know for fact. Nor try to blame this cop for any/all bad cops. He is not on

Well, quite the flame-blog...all started due to poor news casting, twisted in order to make money or advance their agenda (shame ABC 24, and many other local stations). You shouldn't have sliced and spliced the tape. Were you there? Have you seen the ENTIRE video? I doubt either. I have seen the video. The whole thing. The spliced version on the news is manufactured and twisted as much as the movie Wag the Dog. This is the very definition of self defense. Don't let these cops go down just because they were the unfortunate guys who took Johnson in on this day. Stop the disinformation. I don't blame the viewer, how could you know? You trust the press. But viewers, don't comment on what you don't know for fact. Nor try to blame this cop for any/all bad cops. He is not one. Now you know.

I do not think these officers should have beaten this man. However, I do not think the officer should be charged with a civil rights violation. He lost his job and that should be enough. Why is he being charged now after all this time? Why after Mr. Johnson was found dead? Shouldn't this have all occured right then?

The judge and jury need to throw the book at these two psychopathic twerps. Thank goodness the MPD had the sense to fire these two. They need phychiatric help for their problems with sex and hatred. They are probably supressing some secret needs or desires. That could be what led to such a violent act.
