MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A man was found shot to death in his Chickasaw Gardens home Tuesday night after a concerned friend called Memphis police.
Officers were called to the 400-block of Hodges Street around 9:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, February 5 after a woman called police saying she had not been able to get in touch with the victim for several days, and nobody answered when she knocked on the door.
The Memphis Fire Department was called to the scene and forced entry, and found the 30-year-old victim dead from a gunshot wound. Investigators stated the victim appeared to have been dead for several days.
Police have not released the victim's identity, and so far no arrests have been made.
