MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A big donation was made Thursday to Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital. The March of Dimes presented the donation to the Newborn Intensive Care Unit.
The money was provided by the Federico family. Mr. Federico wanted to honor the NICU nurses who cared for his grandson.
The boy was born premature at only two pounds six ounces, and is now a healthy one-year-old.
