It's just a $$ business for him & other "reverends"; Fleecing the Flock. He is no more interested in religion than the average agnostic.

So this is supposed to be offensive to who? Oh thats right the supposedly right people.Personally i find the only thing offensive is the robe he is wearing to gaudy. but at least he is getting a message out that will be of a sound-off to some of the youth. To wake them up and maybe give them something to beleive in besides the baseless crap that they already listen to.I hear the message i hope somebody else will also. big up to whalum for trying to put his money where his mouth is.because alienating the youth is a big problem. We need to start embracing the energy of the youth and channel it into something positive and stop all the hatefulness. just because you dont understand something.i'm 39 I like my rap music. but being born in the 70's i learned from the adults around me to embrace all genres of music and to be expressive.we need to be more mindful of the way we are as adults and realize that our youth only imulate what they see in there environment and at home.So in closing I say inthe words of the song by the Williams Brothers("sweep around yo on front door") lets get an understanding for the youth and start a conversation with them not just at them.
