MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A Memphis man has been charged with murder for a shooting death in the Parkway Village area Sunday afternoon.
Police were called to the 4500-block of Villagreen Drive around 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 13. When they arrived they found a male victim in his early 20's had been shot in the head. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators detained one person at the scene, 28-year-old Kervin Jackson, who later admitted to walking into the kitchen and shooting the victim several times. Jackson was charged with First Degree Murder and is being held without bond at the Shelby County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in court January 15.
