MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - One person was killed and another person was taken to the hospital after an accident on I-240 involving a tractor trailer and several vehicles during Monday morning's commute.
The accident occurred just before 8 a.m. on I-240 southbound near South Parkway. One person was pronounced dead on the scene and a second person was transported to The MED in stable condition.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
