Just as someone previously posted: "Welcome to memphis/ monkeytown." Nothing new here, just a different day. What a great place to raise a family and instill great moral values.

I'm sure that someone is taking names to kick some add later. Also, I am sure they will definitely burn in hell for this too!

Considering the recent actions of members of the MPD's own department, I find their outrage and disgust over what consenting adults did at a private party to be hilariously hypocritical.

I just read that the organizers have admitted to releasing the video. That was wrong!! They didn't bother to block out the faces. If it is a private party, why are you exposing the identities of the people?

I must say Memphis, Memphis, Memphis. There are private clubs/parties all over this country. The organizers do not appear to understand how to manage these kinds of parties. First of all, you don't open the party and just let people in. I belong to a private club where we pay a membership fee. Second, protection is a must and there are areas for sex (not on the dance floor). Third, there is no videotaping. Members are professionals and private. Thus, they do not want to jeopardize their livelihood. Plus, it isn't anybody's business. I am a native Memphian but live in the Miami area now. I love Memphis but I have been exposed to other people, places, and lifestyles.

As Blacks, we are always complaining that other races treat us as if we are animals, and look at us. We act worse than any animal I have ever seen. People are not backwards, because they do not want their city exposed in this manner. You are certainly right, what people do in private is their business, but this cannot be that private you and I know about it. Thanks to the Mayor's Office, Memphis Police Director for trying their best to make sure our city is worth more than a place to visit only to see Graceland. Our city is in the top of everything that is not worth bragging about. Think about that, and think about how we sit and complain about how our city does not have any jobs, or business not being in our neighborhoods...because no one wants to be in a place where there are no morals, values, respect, and common sense. We should be ashamed at the way we display ourselves in public views. I'm not saying any of us are perfect. This does not mean at the same time, what I feel is ok for me to do should be placed where any and everyone nation wide should know. We are good for fighting for our rights on issues like this, but how about us fighting for our children's education, how about raising our children in a proper manner instead of wondering about getting a man, that's probably not worthy of being called a man. Why don't we try looking into what will make our property value worth the taxes we have to pay for it. Try calling the police when your son, and others in your neighborhoods are selling drugs, shooting and killing innocent children. Try these few steps first, then notice how a little community involvement changes a lot for us all. This is just my comment, not the law, and you don't have to live by it.

OMG Go check out these fools facebook page. What an absolute bastardization of the english language. Not to mention the thug, tatooed, trash mouth women on there. This is all a reflection of the core problem with crime and blight in Memphis. You have the right to look, talk like and act like a fool but that does not make it right. This disgusting behavior is qoing to be the end of us all. Black leadership in Memphis does not have the courage to get off the Race Bait train and tell the truth about the problems in Black culture in Memphis. I would leave tomorrow if I could.
