MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Sherrie Daly, ex-wife of pro golfer John Daly, turned herself in Tuesday after a warrant was issued on a harassment charge earlier this month.

Daly, 37, turned herself in at Shelby County's Jail East around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27. The warrant was issued on November 15 after a complaint was filed by a woman stating Daly had sent her 50 to 60 text messages over the course of two days. According to Memphis police, the messages were regarding a relationship with a man both women knew.

This isn't Sherrie Daly's only run-in with the law. She was arrested this past January for contempt of court, and Daly's been arrested in Shelby County more than four times.

Cases that were expunged don't show up in county records, but one of the expunged cases made headlines in 2007. John Daly showed up to the St. Jude Classic in Memphis with raw, bloody wounds on his face. He told Shelby County Sheriff's deputies he woke up that morning to his wife attacking him with a steak knife.

Sherrie Daly's been in trouble with the law in more than just Shelby County. In 2006, she served five months in federal prison, after she pleaded guilty to a money laundering and gambling ring. In 2008, she was arrested in Olive Branch, Mississippi after John Daly said she stole his cell phone from his RV.

John and Sherrie Daly have been divorced since February 2010.

Poor Sherrie, just can't seem to hold onto a man. Maybe she should try a woman.
