MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - The Shelby County Sheriff's Office has apprehended a suspect in at least three sexual assaults in east Memphis.
DNA evidence connected 34-year-old Michael Richardson to three cases where the victims were taken from the east Memphis area to rural east Shelby County and sexually assaulted. He was arrested Tuesday, November 20 in Rossville, Tenn. with assistance from the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.
Michael Richardson is charged with two counts of Aggravated Rape, one count of Rape and one count of Aggravated Robbery. He is being held at the Shelby County Jail on a $2 million bond.
