MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Investigators need help identifying the suspect in a University of Memphis area bank robbery Monday afternoon, who was clearly seen in the bank's surveillance camera.
The robbery occurred at the SunTrust Bank, located at 3441 Poplar Avenue near Highland Street. The suspect posed as a customer, then approached the teller indicating he had a weapon and demanded money. He ran from the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is a white male in his late 20's to early 30's, 5'6" to 5'8" tall, thin build and unshaven, last seen wearing a brown long-sleeved shirt with a "Ducks Unlimited" logo and a black baseball cap with "Cleveland Golf" across the front.
