MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Shelby County Sheriff's deputies have charged a teen suspect for burglarizing several vehicles in the Arlington area.

On Friday, November 2, there were five incidents of overnight vehicle burglaries in an Arlington neighborhood reported to authorities. In all of the burglaries, the vehicles were unlocked and several belongings stolen.

One victim's iPod was traced by its serial number to a Game Stop in Millington, where store records showed it was sold to them by 18-year Matthew Bullard, of Oakland.

Bullard turned himself in to investigators on Monday, November 19, and gave a full confession to the five burglaries. He told detectives he sold all of the stolen items at various pawn shops and Game Stop stores in Shelby and Fayette County.

Matthew Bullard is charged with five counts of Burglary. He is being held at the Shelby County Jail on $1,000 bond.

This wayward youth simply needs guidance, after all, most of his friends probably already have Ipods. Peer pressure is a common denominator in many cases such as this one.
