There is only one week left to avoid one of the largest federal budget cuts in history. If Congress can't reach a deal, sequestration would begin on March 1. Congress is eight days away from the deadline that could mean a million jobs lost.

Shameless scaremongering...there are no cuts with sequestration, only less of an increase. Typical government-speak amplified by a partisan media.

you idiots voted for him - this is what you get. bottom line the size of government needs to shrink, illegals need to get out of the country and off of the tax burden of hard working americans ( they should NOT be able to participate in ANY social program - obviously we are broke ) and ALL entitlement programs need to be reformed and policed better, our troops need to come back home and be placed along our own borders stopping ALL illegal entry into this country. we will never as a country get our money problems under control if we cannot control the obvious things that need to be addresses. so instead the pathedic democrat party will continue to divide this country at every level while all the while blaming the republicain party for everyones trouble. the really sad part is that the mindless sheep who voted for this fool will beleive every word without every trying to educated themselves as to what is really going on.... God help us...

This is all crap. If an 85 billion dollar cut costs thousands of jobs it's because obummer wants it to. Look folks, wake up! They just wrote a check for 60 billion and handed it to new jersey. But they can't afford 85 billion without the country catching fire? This is a scheme. Another obama ploy to turn idiot voters against the republican party. Nothing more. He is poised to do more damage to our country than any group of nations ever could. The plans are rolling out for a police state, and the policies are in place for socialism. Anything else he will pass by ececutive order. Biden is right, Buy a shotgum.

I will disagree with your report. It's 2.5% of a 3.7 TRILLION dollar budget...... It's a rounding error. If we can't find that much waste in the spending plan (there is no budget), then we are pretty pitiful as a nation. Why won't President Obama presenta budget? Why won't Harry Reid allow debate and a vote on MULTIPLE bills that have been passed by the House of Representatives to address this problem???? I'll tell you why..... THEY DON'T WANT TO. They just want to score political points, blame the Republicans and try to ram more spending down our throats....
