WEST MEMPHIS, AR (abc24.com) - West Memphis police have identified the body of a woman found Tuesday afternoon.
Officers were called to the 200-block of S Worthington just before 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, where the body of an unidentified female was located.
Investigators later identified the woman as 35-year-old Tracey Brock from Cross County, Arkansas. The cause of death has yet to be released, pending results from the Arkansas State Medical Examiner's Office. At this time foul play is not suspected.
“We would like to thank the members of our community for their cooperation and assistance in identifying the victim so proper notification could be made to her family and loved ones,” stated West Memphis Police Capt. Ken Mitchell. “It may still take some time, though, to learn the cause and manner of her death.”
