MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP, abc24.com) - Federal authorities say 13 people have been charged with dealing drugs at two West Tennessee prisons.

The U.S. attorney's office for West Tennessee said in a news release Monday that the 13 have been indicted in five different cases of drug dealing at federal corrections facilities in Memphis and Macon.

Authorities say the introduction of the narcotics and the drug dealing occurred in 2011. Those charged include inmates and people who smuggled the drugs into the prisons.

The FBI, the U.S. Marshals Service and the Bureau of Prisons conducted the investigation.

The thuggish scumbags can't keep drugs out of their own prisons! Guess they need more money! Or maybe a TV show where they can explain how bad they do their jobs. If they can find somebody who isn't out harassing peaceful, nonviolent people....
