MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis Police arrested 16 people, including a registered sex offender and six juveniles, at an illegal "lingerie party" with drugs, alcohol and minors openly engaging in sexual acts.

MPD's Organized Crime, DUI and K-9 Units arrived on the scene at 3680 Mendenhall just before 11 p.m. on Feb. 25 and conducted a sweep of an event dubbed as an "Anything But Clothes Lingerie Party." When officers went inside, they found children as young as 11 years old at the event. Several fights broke out inside and in the parking lot while police were there.

The owner of the building, 43-year-old Charles Smith, told officers he had leased the building to 20-year-old Reggie Adams for the event. Smith, who was accompanied to the event by three underage females, turned up as a registered sex offender for a sexual battery conviction in 1997 and was placed under arrest. Adams was also arrested for having a pair of brass knuckles, disorderly conduct and holding an event without a permit.

23-year-old Christopher Jones, who was running security at the event, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon after police discovered he was not bonded to act as armed security. Security guards 21-year-old Demarco Blakely, 44-year-old Columbus Yancy and 36-year-old Calvin Sharp were all charged for not having security guard registration cards.

Kalvin Pettie, Demarco Reed and Clifton Hunt, all 18 years old, were charged with Disorderly Conduct. 22-year-old Marcus Walker was arrested on an existing warrant for Patronizing Prostitution.

The six juveniles, ranging in age from 14 to 17, were arrested on various charges, including Disorderly Conduct.
