MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - One person is behind bars for an armed robbery that placed Millington Elementary School on lockdown, and investigators are still searching for a second suspect.

24-year old Daniel Johnson caused panic after sheriff deputies say he and another suspect committed an armed robbery on Armour Drive in Millington last Friday morning. The victim was robbed of his laptop and wallet.

"We had information that one or both may have been in a cornfield, which is right across the street from Millington Elementary School," said Chip Washington with the Shelby County Sheriff's Office. "It was decided to put the school on lockdown and formulate a plan to get them off campus safely."

Friday night, sheriff's deputies booked Johnson in the Shelby County Jail. Washington says he's confident they'll be escorting his accomplice to jail as well.
