STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP, abc24.com) - A third suspect in the shooting death of a Mississippi State University student has been arrested in Florida.

Mississippi Department of Public Safety spokesman Warren Strain says Trent Crump turned himself into authorities near Gainesville, Fla., on Tuesday.

Strain says investigators with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation developed information that Crump was traveling to the Gainesville area and worked through the U. S. Marshals Task Force to release information regarding his direction of travel.

Crump, along with Duntae Harvey and Mason Jones, are charged with capital murder in the death of John Sanderson of Madison. He was killed outside a dorm room in Evans Hall Saturday night.

marsblackmon:Every single thing that you described the white man has done your people have done 10 fold including the lynching that your people do to themselves with the black on black crime. And the rest of us are reaping the hell that your people have done to this country for over 80 years. In that short of time your people have almost bankrupted this country(social programs) along with the skyrocketing crime rate your people and forefathers have given us. It took the white man 400 years as you say,,it took your people 80 years to completely RAPE this country....

If it was an african american that killed another african american, would there be so much coverage and outrage? Would Jesse and Al be there? NO. They kill each other everyday for no reason at all. But there are no protests. Why? Is it because this type of behavior is expected from the african americans? Please enlighten.

There are differences between the two cases.The main thing to remember is that the Mississippi shooters are now behind bars. Everything else is just rhetoric. Those three shot and killed this young man and now they are jailed. The killer in Florida is not jailed for killing a young man. One victim was white and the other victim black, but they are both equally dead.

Lol@white people complaining about civil rights, of course you don't have civil rights, look at what your forefathers has done since America has been in existence, murder, rape, lynchings, theft, lies, hate. You all are jut reaping the benefits of what your forefathers has soon for over 400 years, there is a saying as a man soweth, that shall he also reap, so now you know how it feels somewhat on being mistreats based on the color your skin. But I agree with bigbro, it was a drug deal gone bad. But the difference between travoyne martin and this case, the shooters was arrested immediately, and in martins case, the shoots is still free with the murder weapon.

The Justice Dept has said it only investigates hate crimes or civil rights violations where blacks are targeted. Whites apparently have no civil rights.
