300 Jobs Coming to Memphis

MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - The Great American Steamboat Company is bringing jobs to Memphis, and they plan to start hiring soon.

"We're in the happiness business," said Jeff Krida, CEO of the Great American Steamboat Company.

Krida will be spreading happiness to hundreds of job seekers in the Mid-South. He told abc24.com, "We're looking to hire 300 people and hope we can hire all right here."

Krida said all those people will have plenty of jobs to choose from. "There'll be everything from waiters, bus boys, cooks, chefs, to housekeeping personnel."

The Great American Steamboat Company is holding a job fair February 21st from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Cook Convention Center.
