MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A jury delivered a not guilty verdict Friday for a Memphis woman charged with killing her husband.

Angela Houston was charged with first degree murder in the death of her husband Robert Houston. Investigators say she admitted to shooting him at the family's Frayser home in April of 2010.

Officers found the body wrapped in a blanket in the kitchen. Angela Houston was arrested at the scene.

Lawyers say Robert Houston physically and mentally abused the family, and had threatened to kill them.

Nope. You can't always just leave. If he was always beating her and her child, he needed to be put down anyway. whether he was doing it that particular time or not. IMO.
