LITTLE ROCK, AR (abc24.com) - The Arkansas House overwhelmingly approved a bill that allows concealed handguns in churches.

The proposal would leave it up to individual churches to decide whether to allow weapons.

The Senate approved the bill last week, but the legislation will head back to the Senate for a vote on the addition of new sponsors to the bill - then it's headed to Governor Beebe's desk.

He's already said he'll likely sign the bill.
