MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - The suspect in an assault on two off-duty Memphis police officers at Remington College is a wanted man.
32-year-old Marlo Pride is accused of hitting the two officers with his car while fleeing the scene of a domestic assault in the parking lot of the school on March 6.
The two officers, who worked security for the school as a second job, were told of a domestic assault in the parking lot and went to intervene. They located the suspect and tried to detain him until police arrived, but the suspect got in his car and sped towards the guards, hitting both men as they fired at the suspect.
Several windows were shot out of the car, but it's not known if the suspect was hit; he fled the scene and remains at large.
