MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - An arsonist once again targeted a south Memphis apartment complex early Friday morning.
Firefighters were called to the Lakeview Apartments, formerly the Somerset Park Apartments, around 1:45 a.m. on Friday, November 30. It took just under an hour to get the fire under control.
Investigators determined the fire was intentionally set in several locations throughout the building. Only one unit in the building was occupied; no injuries were reported.
Fire officials say the fire caused approximately $150,000 in damage and the building in a total loss. Another building in the complex was torn down earlier this month after it was gutted by a fire, also set by an arsonist.
