BARTLETT, TN (abc24.com) - Bartlett Police officers believe they may have been the targets for several shots fired from an apartment complex on December 2, 2011.

Three officers were standing outside a convenience store on the 6100-block of Stage Road shortly after midnight when they heard several gunshots coming from Bartlett Heights Apartments across the street. Evidence suggested that the shots were fired in the direction of the officers. No one was injured.

Witnesses said two possible suspects were seen running towards the back of the complex right after the gunfire, but nobody was apprehended after a search of the area.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Bartlett CrimeStoppers at (901) 332-MONY (6669).

So, I guess Jefferson thinks we need to revamp the justice system and agree to implement the death penalty for mean people. Namely mean police officers.
