Should we use that logic to say that termites do what they do and allow they to destroy our homes? How about ants and roaches, or rodents? My home was built in 1961, long before the urban sprawl was conceivable in the unincorporated area of Maywood. The beavers have dammed up the spillway beside my home. They recently downed a large tree that fell too close to my bedroom. Their dam has mucked up my lakefront and made it a mosquito infested marsh. Mosquitos carry disease like West Nile and heart worms. Should we and our pets suffer and die? When it comes to habitat I suggest that we make ours safe by controlling beaver activity around our homes. Think about that. Your comment angers me with its over simplistic view. Where do you live? Why not move so nature can do what it does and reclaim the area where you reside! Duh! Arrrrgh.

Where are they supposed to go? The beavers are doing what they are suppsed to do. We took their habitat with our suburban sprawl.
