Body Found in Car at Whitehaven Neighborhood Park

MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis police are investigating the death of a man found in a vehicle at a neighborhood park Monday morning.

Officers were called to Williams Park at Craft and Auburn Road around 8:20 a.m. on Monday, December 10. When they arrived they found a man unresponsive in the driver's seat of a vehicle. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene from a gunshot wound; his identity has not been released.

So far there are no suspects in custody. Anyone with information on this shooting should call CrimeStoppers at (901) 528-CASH (2274).
