GERMANTOWN, Tenn. (AP) - A municipal judge in Germantown has revoked bond he had allowed a burglary suspect, citing the man's violent past.
Judge Raymond Clift said he didn't have Michael "Mickie" Edwards' complete criminal history when he set bond for him at $100,000.
Clift told The Commercial Appeal on Wednesday that he revoked Edwards' bond because he was convicted robbery with a deadly weapon in 1987.
Investigators said when they arrested Edwards in November in four residential burglaries in Germantown, two pages of hand-written notes fell out of his car. They contained information about addresses where newspapers and mail had not been picked up or trash cans were left at the curb. Two of the houses on the list had been burglarized.
