MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - The man accused of fatally shooting his girlfriend and her parents in a domestic fight has been formally charged by Memphis Police with their murders.
28-year-old Sedrick Clayton is charged with three counts of First Degree Murder for the deaths of 23-year-old Pashea Fisher, 56-year-old Arithio Fisher and 46-year-old Patricia Fisher.
According to MPD investigators, Clayton was with Pashea Fisher at her family's home on the 1600-block of Preston when they began arguing just before 6:00am on January 19, 2012. As the argument escalated, Pashea's parent tried to intervene when all three were shot. Pashea and her father, Arithio, were pronounced dead on the scene. Patricia Fisher died a short time later at The MED.
Clayton fled the scene in Pashea's SUV with their 4-year-old daughter. After communicating with Clayton's family, officers reached him by phone and convinced him to turn himself in to police. Clayton surrendered at 8:45am at the Memphis Police station on E. Raines. The child was unharmed.
Sedrick Clayton is being held without bond at the Shelby County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 23rd.
