Boyfriend Charged in South Memphis Triple Murder

myersbraden, Of course I'm racist. I live in Memphis, I work for a living, and I read the news. It's pretty hard to NOT have some degree of racism. Plus, it is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to not be racist if you've ever waited tables, in the south. I don't think my original comment was out of line with that, you just misread what I was saying. The dude does have a mullet after all.

There are so many lessons to be learned from this tragic event!! My deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. First and foremost, this tells us if your relationship is volatile, end it as quickly and humanely as possible. Another point out of this tragedy is once you have ended the relationship let it be over, neither party should string the other along. So much more to say but it is probably obvious, except that the "wannabe tough guys" and "gangsters" need to study this young man's photo. He is posing and trying to impress upon the public just how tough he is. If he appreciated for one moment, the amount of trouble that he is in, he would take a decent photo and try to paint some sense of remorse on his face in the process. Taking a photo like that doesn't scare anybody; his fate depends on the judge and jury at this point; he ought to be trying to portray himself as an ordinary person caught up in the moment. One can easily assume that most citizens will have seen this photo and are thinking what an absolute reject; he actually looks a bit proud and arrogant!! I look at this photo and I want the book thrown at him, and anything else that we can do to punish him and deter others!! Lesson, have the decency to look normal and/or remorseful when you've done such a ghastly deed. These were good people, from all accounts and they will be sorely missed. You have robbed your own child of a normal life, especially if she saw you do it.
