LAUDERDALE COUNTY, TN (abc24.com) - In cold blood: A tragic and bizarre murder in Lauderdale County has family members mourning, neighbors talking, and authorities investigating.

A woman is dead. The suspect: her brother. He's not in jail though, because family members say he died while disposing of her body.

"I was like dang, right up the street. This road? Nothing happens on this road too much," said Tim Whitehead, who lives down the street from the crime scene.

Family members say Lynn Conrad stabbed his sister Pam, after the two got into a fight inside the mobile home they share on Joe Daniel Road in rural Lauderdale County.

"That is even worse, I think the guy had some issues, for sure," Whitehead said.

Family members tell us in his panic, Conrad loaded up his sister's body into his truck with the goal of disposing it in the county.

"I hate that man killed his sister, that's sad," said BJ Jackson, who says her father and Conrad had a long violent feud dating back decades.

Conrad's family tells abc24.com that with all the recent rain, Conrad's truck became stuck in the mud. He tried to get it out, but to no avail. They say he walked up a steep bluff to get help, when he collapsed from a fatal heart attack.

"I hate that the family has to go through it, but you know what, I'm at peace. After 24 years, I'm at peace finally," Jackson said.

A dispatcher with the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Office said more details would be released on Friday.

Reached by phone, Lauderdale County District Attorney Mike Dunavant said the investigation remains ongoing.

I appreciate work of authors who write clearly on criminal law issues. People need I information on criminal defense to protect their freedom, incomes and lives. That is why I always read your blog with great attention. I think, you could write several legal articles to Attorney Online. Hope, this will help to promote your legal services. One more option is to submit your contacts to Attorney directory. I invite there good lawyers in different practice areas. For example, look at the category with Tennessee criminal attorneys http://attorney-online.info/dir/criminal/tennessee/945 I think, that you and some your friends could be listed there.
