MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis police say one of three suspects in an early-morning, downtown Memphis crime was shot around 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2011.
Police responded to a prowler call at Ledbetter Packing Company at 1837 Harbor Avenue on President's Island where they found three suspects burglarizing the business.
As the suspects were driving off, shots were fired and one suspect was hit. He was taken to The MED in critical condition.
Police have a second suspect in custody, but the third has not yet been captured.
