MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Prosecutors say kids were "doped and fooled" by two sexual predators from west Tennessee. A federal judge sentenced a husband and wife to 10 years in prison on child pornography charges.
"Whether you are distributing, whether you are producing, whether you are receiving any of these pornographic images - and again, all it has to be is just one - one of these images, that's a federal crime," stated Edward Stanton, U.S. Attorney for West Tennessee.
Daryl Maness and his wife, Shannon Maness, pleaded guilty to aggravated statutory rape.
The FBI says the Chester County couple gave cell phones to four children as young as 13. The kids were persuaded to send naked pictures of themselves to the couple and were also sexually abused.
