Actually Rep Cohen has been fughting this problem for some time. Several people have been trying to get City Officials involved and I guess it has gotten to be such a hot issue, the City is now getting involved. As far as I am concerned, the Citizens of Memphis are being discriminated against, Not from a racial stand point but from the stand point that people who reside in the City of Memphis are the only ones that have to go through this inspection process when the real problems with emissions is caused by the traffic passing through the area. Maybe a Judge could issue some type of restraing order against the City and State. The Federal Government has nothing to do with this mess even though City Officials and elected officials had stated that they did. I called my Councilman and he became very upset with me when I stated the Feds had nothing to do with this process, maybe he will issue an apology.

Best thing Cohen has done since he became Congis Cone. Hit him in the pocketbook, it did. ;-)
