City Not Pleased with State Plan for Vehicle Inspections

Memphis city motorists aren't the only ones fired up about the state's new car inspection plan. Memphis Mayor A C Wharton and his team at City Hall don't like it either.

Well, once again, the city decides to quit paying for something, then complain about the way it is going to be done. How Memphis.

Where is the city paying anything? They get to pocket the hidden fees. Its the citizens that will pay. If the City wants to help they could drop their fee by five dollars. Then try to get the wheel tax repealed. Maybe even get a property tax reduction from the money they're no longer paying the School system. Think that will happen?
