@ Casper..I agree, I don't think it is solving the problem, but instead taking more away from the community and the children. They have been working on the 385 connection for the past 5 years....it does though seem to recently been making some good progress. There has to be another way to help the traffic situations and road conditions than to tear into a wonderful part of the city! I really hope people will rally against this....

This road doesn't sound like it solves any problems on the congestion. If the plans would filter traffic from Whitten/Macon to Walnut Grove... they would still have to either 240/Humphreys/Kirby or Gtown Road to continue south. Destroying the only bit of green space out east is not the way to go. Isn't the connection of 385 to 40 going to alleviate some of that incoming traffic?
