This ain't about air quality, it's about revenue. "Please save us from making tough, unpopular budget decisions!"

"man up" really?! Memphis has no idea the meaning of "manning up" they want the county tpo deal with all the "tough" issues that the city can't seem to get a grip on & deal with. The county has "manned up" plenty....The county takes care of their schools, and has proven successful, the county takes care of their roads, and has proven successful, the county takes care of their crime, and once again has proven overall to be successful....if only Memphis would follow the lead instead of trying to dump everything on the county that they can't "man up" & do themselves....take care of your own crap Memphis, this is why sooo many people are leaving the city to live elsewhere!!

The city of Memphis has money troubles so they are trying to unload everything they can on to the county. There are more cars in Memphis than the county so that is where there are more air quality problems. This is just another way for Memphis to pass the buck.
