MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - An endangered adult alert for a missing 81-year-old man has been canceled after he was located confused but unharmed in Mississippi.

Albert White was reported missing on Christmas Eve after he failed to show up for his early morning dialysis appointment. He had been last seen the night before by family members. An endangered adult city watch was issued for White Tuesday afternoon.

Around 10 p.m., a couple at a gas station in Cleveland, Mississippi saw Albert White and recognized him from the local news. When they approached him he seemed confused, telling them he was giving a friend a ride although nobody was with him. The couple called the sheriff's office, who contacted White's family.

White was reunited with his family around midnight.
