MEMPHIS, TN - The search is called off for a missing Bartlett woman who fell off a cruise ship Sunday night.

A spokesperson with the U.S. Coast Guard says after 48 hours of searching by air and sea, there is no possibility of finding the 21-year-old in the water.

The woman fell off a Royal Caribbean cruise ship Sunday night, about 50 miles east of Fort Lauderdale. The Coast Guard and cruise line are not releasing the woman's name. The Coast Guard says a guest witnessed the girl going overboard, surveillance video on the ship confirms it.

So they are just giving up. I understand the chances of finding her alive are slim, but the family deserves to have her body laid to rest. Prayers are with the family....heartbreaking!!
