Committee Formed to Study Memphis Park Names

A seven-person committee has been formed to study the renaming of three Memphis parks, which were recently changed in anticipation of new state legislation.

I don't understand why we are going through this charade. As Frayserboi says, we know how this is going to turn out. It doesn't impress folks to play the little games. This is a done deal.The parks will be named after black leaders from Memphis, not necessarily reputable and upstanding. Just black.
