MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - The woman accused of hitting two women in the Cooper-Young area three weeks ago was booked and processed at the Shelby County Jail Monday morning.

Adrienne Spates has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving injury, failure to report an accident, and not having insurance.

Spates didn't have much to say when we caught up with her outside the Shelby County Courthouse, but made it clear how she felt with some choice hand gestures.

When asked how the booking process went she told abc24.com, "I'm back on the town, ain't I?"

Spates is scheduled to be back in court July 23.

Umm...Newsflash b*tch - pedestrians have the right of way! Just another fine example of self entitled, ghetto trash living in Memphis. Jefferson Tao - you sound like you belong in that group of self entitled ghetto trash. No one expects this woman to kill herself, but it would be apppropriate for her to show a little remorse instead of being an arrogant b*tch and blaming the victim. Last time I checked an apology is customary after an accident occurs. But instead of acknowledging the fact that this woman's behavior was disgusting, you pull the race card. Good job. You sound very intelligent...

Jeffersontao: let's call you out for being the major racist,,did you say anything about the WHITE WOMEN that were run over by this arrogant b*tch??NO,,all you can do is support this BLACK "woman". I believe all of us slammed that white trash Hayes maggot. You are always the first one to bring up the race card(racist). You are the first one to call white people inbreds,,uneducated,(racist). Jefferson,,you need to check your own backyard before you criticize someone else's.

What exactly do people want from the woman? Tears? Suicide? Would that erase the accident? After all, that is exactly what it was. Get a grip. You people will scream from the highest mountain when a black person gets in trouble. However, underneath the articles of all the white people accused of wife beating, serial killing, murder. We don't see all the "scumbag deserves death" remarks by all the usual suspects: myersbraden, frayserrboi, missy22. Yeah, I called you out. Racists!

I'd say sue the hell out of here, but all of her money comes out of our pockets anyway, so might as well just donate to the woman in the hospital.

I wish this woman was a rarity here, but she is all too "common," in both senses of the word.
