CORDOVA, TN (abc24.com) - The First South Bank at 1575 North Germantown Parkway in Cordova has been robbed twice in 8 days, starting with the robbery on Tuesday, September 27, 2011. Police have a suspect in custody for that crime, but are searching for a man who robbed the bank on October 4, 2011, around 4:25 p.m.
Police have charged 38-year-old Frank Buckley III for robbing the bank on Tuesday, September 27, 2011. Buckley was arrested on Friday, October 1.
In a separate incident that happened the next Tuesday, October 4, 2011, police are still seeking a suspect.
They say the suspect entered the First South Credit Union at 1575 North Germantown Parkway, posing as a customer. The man pointed a gun at the teller and demanded money.
The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money, and took off running.
The suspect (pictured with this story) is a white man in his late 40s or early 50s, around 5'4" and between 140 and 150 pounds. The man has blonde/gray spiked hair and was wearing a blue t-shirt, jeans and white tennis shoes.
