Council Members Want County to Take Over Vehicle Inspections

No inspection for city of Memphis and keep shebly county no inspection I think everybody would like that decision. I say no inspection pay for your tags I would be so happy if they decide no inspection. For city of Memphis. In leave shebly county. Like. It is no inspection

I feel like Memphis shouldn't give up the business just don't fall nobody. For the check engine light. If the car smoking. Just fall. The car if that don't work. Out just have no inspection. Its to hard out here its to much money yo get. The car fix thousand of dollars. To get the check. Engine light off

PhoenixNative, I agree with you! Whenever Memphis has things they can't handle they want to put it off on the county, whenever the county has something good going, Memphis wants to take it over....Shelby county doesn't have inspections, so why would they pay for something Memphis is doing, but can't control?! SteveTapp, it could be a shared cost, but the only reason Memphis wants out is cause they can't handle it, and it's costing more than they make! Time to reevaluate where the problems truely lay?!

Last time I looked, everyone who lives in Memphis, Tennessee, also lives in Shelby County, Tennessee, and will pay a proportional share of whatever it costs the County.

Lets see, another day, another thing Memphis wants to give up on and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that if the program was making money, then they would fight to prevent from having to share the profits with the rest of the county. Its your mess Memphis, time to put on your big girl undies and deal with it as a responsible adult.
