DeSoto County Elder Care Programs Facing Budget Cuts

This year, the county may have to cut money for the programs, possibly up to $80,000. DeSoto's supervisors are trying to trim the budget without trimming services.

FYI, as a group, the elderly are some of the wealthiest among us. (or at least until they give all their assets to their worthless kids and then cry poverty)

OK JeffersonTao...go back and read paragraph 4 again. Desoto County "chose" to add money to the program. This is a county issue...short on budget funds. Willowbloom is right. Budget cuts always begin with the elderly.

Afraid it's not Obamacares doing this, willowbloom. You live in a Republican dominated state and this is a STATE issue. Republicans believe anybody living off government is a lazy freeloader and they should be left to their own families or be reduced to begging at charities. The elderly are no exception. Welcome to the Republican plan for America.

Boy, Boy, Here we go- Cuts in the needs of the elderly. Just wait, we'll all be put out to pasture when this Obamacare is fuly implemented
