DeSoto Schools Keeps Growing, Adding Teachers, Students

There are almost 33,000 students in the district, 458 of those are new this year. As more students attend the schools, the county's making a point to keep the teacher - student ratio low.

Well how about a stronger effort to keep Memphis kids out of the Desoto county system.Its a shame that the Memphis public school system sucks so badly. You are also forcing Teachers that are approaching retirement age out, is that the right thing to do? You need to stop bragging about these inflated numbers and focus on good quality education and Teachers!
