I remember back n 1984 when a girlfriend of mine brought 2 guys 2 my house,,i knew her friend,,but the other guy was unknown 2 me.. i didn't care for her friend because i heard he was into drugs real heavy..the other guy was using my phone and didn;t know i was listening,,and i heard him tell the other party that he had 2 do a hit n texas and after he would return 2 cal..i gave all of them an excuse 2 leave my home..so if there was a hit on wrights life that is how they do it,,bring someone n from another state..

A private Investigator with no ties to Memphis or the mid South could solve this case. The tips that have been offered have been ignored or just not followed. Example What ever happened to the witness that saw Ren at his fathers house the day before he was reported missing. I would bet this witness has received his shut up papers by now. MPD forget who you think you know and follow the leads. You just might be surprised. Look at what you have. Then, if you asessment is correct, who paid these people or person, who contacted them, don't play us short. Some of us know what you are alleging but did you look under the right rock?

It is telling that no tips or information coming forward that this was not a random, sudden, or impulse murder. The individual or individuals that committed this murder obviously had a plan "not to be caught" by authorities, in which case this act appears to have been organized. Maybe there is information about the crime scene that has not been released publicly but as far as murder goes in Memphis, most are solved through someone coming forward with information that leads to the culprit. This case is something different. Maybe...someone knows something and are afraid to come forward. I would hate to think that this murder will remain a cold case for much longer. 'Ren was one of the most popular sports figures this city has had since probably Larry Finch and Charlie Lea. Surely someone will realize the importance of having closure for the family and maybe ridding this city of some cold blooded killers. We continue to hope and pray that that day will finally come!
