ROSSVILLE, TN (abc24.com) - A Rossville man is behind bars after he was caught with drugs while police were investigating his friend's death.

Rossville Police were called to the 100-block of Cotton Gin Road just after 6:00 p.m. on March 17. According to Chief Dave Hamric, 20-year-old Cameron Hunter Karr of Germantown was reported dead at the scene; his body has been sent to the Shelby County Medical Examiner's office to determine the cause of death.

24-year-old Ramil Mize, who lives at the home with his parents, was arrested and charged with possession of heroin and cocaine. A third 24-year-old man there at the time of Karr's death was not charged of any crime. Mize's parents were out of town at the time.

So far investigators have not tied the drug arrest to Karr's death pending the result of an autopsy report.
