DYERSBURG, TN (abc24.com) - Dyersburg police have made an arrest in a recent business burglary where 11 handguns were stolen.
Officers found 44-year-old Kelly Lamar Wright hiding in a closet at his home on Monday, August 20 and arrested him without incident for the August 6 burglary of Cycle Werkz.
Of the 11 guns stolen, ranging from .380 caliber, 9mm, 40 caliber and 45 caliber, two have been recovered by police.
“We still have a lot of stolen guns on the street and continue to ask the public for their assistance if they have any information about the guns or the burglary,” stated Dyersburg Police Captain Steven Isbell.
