As the search for a superintendent continues, the Unified School Board wants to hear from parents and the community. The problem: There were more school staff members at the meeting at East High School than parents.

This should give you a clue as to how memphians view education. They either care less or know their input is meaningless. With the resignation of John Aitken this went from a World Class train wreck to a World Class joke. The new school system will be talked about for years to come, mostly on late night TV.
