The number of guns in the city is NOT the problem. It is who has the guns that is the issue.

in really rough wards i can understand the 2 to a car concept but otherwise, no, it makes others wait who may need the police quickly, one man cars are simply a better idea, they can make calls where only one officer is needed

2 Officers to a car should be mandatory for the night shifts. Response time is not important if an officer can’t perform safely. In these crazed times an officer should have his back covered at all times. A partner may also deter an officer from doing stupid things as they have been doing lately.
