MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Former Memphis Grizzlies player Lester Hudson was arrested after a wild drive through the streets of Memphis.

According to the police affidavit, an officer saw Hudson speeding eastbound on American Way weaving in and out of traffic, forcing other drivers to swerve to avoid hitting him. When he reached the intersection at Mt. Moriah, Hudson smoked his tires and spun his car in several circles before heading northbound on Mt. Moriah.

When the officer pulled him over, the document further states that Hudson said he wasn't going to stop next time, telling the officer, "Soon as I get out of this car I'm going to smoke your f****** a**."

Lester Hudson, 28, was arrested January 7 and charged with Reckless Driving. He has since been released from the Shelby County Jail on a $100 bond.

Hudson played for the Memphis Grizzlies briefly in 2010 and 2012. He also played for the Boston Celtics and the Washington Wizards.
