MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A former west Tennessee police officer was sentenced to six months in prison for stealing from a victim at a crime scene he was investigating.

26-year-old David Dreblow, formerly with the Jackson Police Department, pled guilty in April to conspiring with another former Jackson officer, Marvent Brooks, to violate the civil rights of a shooting victim by stealing $1,200 from him while at the crime scene.

Brooks had already pled guilty and in May, was sentenced to 22 months in jail.

David Dreblow was also sentenced to six months house arrest following his release from prison as part of two years supervised release.

Cop clips 1200 dollars from one man and gets six months and two year supervised release. Wall Street bankers lost billions of other people's money through fraud and wild gambling and not one day was served, OR anyone charged with a crime. Welcome to the Oligarchy.
