DYERSBURG, Tenn. (AP, abc24.com) - A funeral is planned in Arkansas for a West Tennessee mother whose body was found last year as police continue to investigate her death.

The funeral for Karen Swift, who went missing last October, is planned for Saturday in Pocahontas, Ark., after her body was released to the family from the Shelby County Medical Examiner's Office, the State Gazette reported.

The 44-year-old mother of four was last seen early Oct. 30 by her husband at their home. Her car was found abandoned with a flat tire later that day, and her body was found near Bledsoe Cemetery in Dyer County Dec. 10.

Police are investigating her death as a homicide, though they have not yet released a cause of death.
